I have been struggling with this disease and the impact it is having on me and my family. I know God has a plan through all of this. I know my family wants me around and I want to be as well. This is all well and good, but I still struggle with all of it.
But God blessed me today! I am reading through Psalms this month and today I was so encouraged by Psalms 8. Here are some selected verses that encourage me:
1 O Lord, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth!
Your glory is higher than the heavens.
3 When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers—
the moon and the stars you set in place—
4 what are mere mortals that you should think about them,
human beings that you should care for them?
5 Yet you made them only a little lower than God
and crowned them with glory and honor.
9 O Lord, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth!
