Welcome to our video library
This is a collection of videos created by Steve. They are both helpful and humorous.
Join with Steve in his journey dealing with ALS and day to day living. These videos focus on non-technical topics and events and more about the various things that Steve is doing to either live better or just share a great experience.
Living with ALS – Presenting and Public Speaking
This video highlights some of the changes and adaptations we have had to make to allow me to continue to present in public. Prior to getting #ALS, I presented regularly around the country on many technical topics. As you will see in this video, I now present with my wife at my side. I hope you enjoy this quick snippet into another aspect of a day in a life living with ALS.

Living with ALS – First Trip through the Airport with the Wheelchair
In this video, you can share the journey and the fun of working through an airport and on an airplane with a Go Chair. This was our first experience doing this and with the help of #Delta the experience went very well. Living with #ALS does not mean you cannot travel; it just means you travel differently. I hope you enjoy this day in the life while living with ALS.

This playlist includes a variety of videos related to how I am able to keep working in spite of ALS. This is more of a catch all playlist as opposed to a series around a specific tool. This is also where I will include various public meetings where I share my working story
Working with ALS: Tools and Software Presented at KY ALS Resource Meeting July 2023
Working with ALS: Tools and Software Presented at KY ALS Resource Meeting July 2023
Present on the tools and software that I use to continue working with ALS for my local Kentucky ALS Association Chapter Resource Meeting in July 2023. In this meeting I discussed both the hardware and voice solutions that I have used since losing functionality in my hands and arms. using multiple cameras I demonstrate the hardware I'm actively using including Roller Mouse, Stream Deck, Microsoft Adaptive Buttons, and Stream Deck Pedal. Some of these tools I do not use in a traditional fashion but it shows how I'm able to use them in my current condition. We also do a short demonstration on using Voice Access in Windows 11. I hope that others find these demonstrations useful and are able to take advantage of some of these tools.
For links to the products and additional information about decisions I made to use these tools and not use other ones, please visit https://dataonwheels.wordpress.com/working-with-als/.
Thank you for your continued support as I can share resources for everyone to use that allows them to continue working in spite of their disability or disease.
