When I got my power chair, my power chair technician recommended that we get insurance on my chair. Solid advice, for sure.
This is not really a tool, but it also very necessary if you have a power chair. You can add a rider to your home insurance policy. Be sure to insure the full replacement cost which is typically between $30,000 and $50,000. This is important because medical insurance including Medicare will only cover a replacement every 5 years.
Work with your insurance agent to get the coverage you need.
