Mount’n Mover

Steve used the Dual Arm Mount’n Mover wheelchair mount to create a portable workstation with his Surface and adaptive controls. It increased his independence while he continued to lose functionality due to ALS.

Description

We were loaned a Mount’n Mover mount by our power chair tech. He was pretty sure I could use it. I used it extensively. Because it was adaptable, we used my PCEye bracket and I took my Surface with me everywhere. I used a combination of the foot control for my mouse with adaptable buttons through the Microsoft Adaptive Hub to control the computer.

This is the one I used. My caregivers had to position it. Once we got it dialed in, it was a simple and quick process after they got me into the chair.
