Dental bibs

We use dental bibs to keep excretions from Steve’s neck and mouth off of his skin and clothing. We tuck it around his neck which works well.

Description

We got these bibs to catch the weeping from Steve’s trach around the insertion site. Weeping is from saliva and sinus drainage that ends up on top of the inflated trach cuff. It is annoying and messy but not bad for him.

The bibs are absorbent on one side and waterproof on the other. They help manage the mess and protect his skin.

As added bonus, they don’t look medical. They kind of look an ascot, very sophisticated.
