Description

One of the common issues taking care of people with ALS is where to put all the equipment. We use this cart to keep a few things handy.

  • Suction machine and its supporting equipment like hoses and attachments.
  • The syringe and tubing for the PEG.
  • The measuring cups, mixer, and formula for the day.
  • Thermometer and oximeter for tracking vitals.

We keep some other items there as well. The nice part is that it is mobile. We are able to move the cart around the house to support wherever Steve is.

We have some cautions about the mobility of this cart. The wheels of the cart are small and may not work great on carpet. Sometimes the cart feels flimsy when moving it between rooms. Overall, it works well.
