Description
Steve’s banked voice works in both TD Snap and Communicator. His voice is a little robotic sounding, but it definitely sounds like him.

Early in Steve’s diagnosis, we decided to bank his voice. We were wisely advised to do it while his voice was strong. We worked with Team Gleason to cover the costs. We highly recommend that you bank your voice before you think you might need it. We used Acapela, but there may be other options available.

Voice banking and voice cloning are different, but they both preserve our voice.
Voice banking requires you to record phrases which are used to create an artificial voice. I used Acapela which is free through Team Gleason. This voice is a little mechanical sounding and can be downloaded on your computer.
Voice cloning uses new or existing recordings like videos or voice mails to create a natural sounding voice with AI. This is done with ElevenLabs and Bridging Voice. This voice requires an internet connection to use.
Both are free through the organizations I mentioned above. I recommend doing both.
