Description
This is not a tool necessarily, but it is a relevant home modification that I wanted to share.
When we purchased our new house, we set aside $30,000 to make the bathroom in our house fully accessible including a zero-entry shower. Our bathroom includes a zero-entry shower, a wheelchair accessible sink, a tall toilet, a toilet seat bidet, and a sprayer bidet. One thing you’ll notice is that we didn’t install grab bars. In my case, I couldn’t use my hands or arms by the time we did the remodel.
Here’s a slideshow of the bathroom remodel.
Remodel cost breakdown:
Contractor: $ 17,225
Tiles: $ 3,942
Granite counter: $ 1,422
Glass partition: $ 980
Fixtures: $ 660
Seat bidet: $ 400
