Description
I have limb onset ALS which started in my hands and arms. When I could no longer shave with a regular razor, I used a Norelco electric shaver I had used for years. My wife started using the same shaver to shave me. When I wanted a closer shave, I went to a barber for a razor shave. One of barbers I visited used a shaver/shaper like the Wahl to give me a close shave. We purchased the Wahl to give me a close finish shave.
The issue with the Wahl shaver is that it takes longer to shave more growth. Getting ready in the morning took long enough, so we upgraded to a newer Norelco shaver. In general, it did a good job, but when a nice, close shave is required, the Wahl shaver does the finishing job nicely.
One thing to remember is that you should be sure to clean the shavers regularly, preferably daily. This keeps them running optimally which is much more comfortable for the shavee.
