A painful reality of ALS is that we have issues with our bladders and bowel movements. As a result, it’s hard to get out easily. Adult diapers give us freedom of movement.

Some people choose to wear them all the time. I usually only wear them in my power chair. They give me freedom and security when I am out and about.
