Feeding tube holder

After dealing with six or more inches of feeding tube protruding from the stomach, which was both annoying and unsightly under clothing, we sought alternatives to uncomfortable medical tape. This PD belt-style feeding tube holder provided an easy-to-use, comfortable solution that effectively concealed the tube under shirts. The holder eliminates the pain of removing tape from body hair and prevents the tube from hanging down or getting caught on clothing during daily activities and sleep.

Description

My first two feeding tubes were the standard or “normal” type with the six or more inches of the feeding tube sticking outside of my stomach. This length of tube was annoying and unsightly under my shirt. After trying to tape it in place with medical tape for a while, we went looking for a better option. We liked this holder best. It was easy to use and hid the tube very well. Equally important it was comfortable for Steve to wear.
